BEACH GETAWAY

The homeowners envisioned a family vacation spot — just steps from the sand — with the ability to accommodate up to 14 guests.

We designed a whole-home remodel, transforming upstairs rooms into an open, modern kitchen kitchen and a great room for entertaining. Bunk beds and built-ins maximize the sleeping spaces. Now, three generations can enjoy the beach together!

PAJARO DUNES

The owners of this beachfront retreat wanted a whole-home remodel. They were looking to revitalize their three-story vacation home with an exterior inspired by Japanese woodcraft and an interior the evokes Scandinavian simplicity. Now, the open kitchen and living room offer an energetic space for the family to congregate while enjoying a 360 degree coastal views.

Built-in bunkbeds for six ensure there’s enough sleeping space for visitors, while the outdoor shower makes it easy for beachgoers to rinse off before hitting the deckside hot tub. It was a joy to help make this vision a reality!

The homeowners wanted to remodel this townhouse, which had not been updated in decades. We brought it into the 21st century by opening up the kitchen into the living room, renovating the bathroom and replacing the fixtures throughout the home.

Despite the small footprint, it feels spacious with a cool, modern vibe.

Arroyo Seco

ARROYO SECO

This home has a beautiful ocean view, and the homeowners wanted to connect the inside and outside. We achieved this by removing the entire roof and outside walls in the kitchen and living room area, replacing them with a dramatic steel and wood structure and a large roof overhang.

We love the open floor plan and the fun splashes of color throughout this remodel.

VIA CONCHA

We collaborated with the home owner and architect Tim Doudna on this unique Aptos beach home remodel.

We added a downstairs kitchenette for the kids and guests, and added built-in cabinets for the master suite. Luxurious details were also built, including a sauna, a wine bar, an outdoor shower, and  a private-entry patio.

Tim designed architectural features, such as frameless glass railings that allow for unobstructed views of the ocean from the living room, kitchen, and master suite.
